(Tourism Chief) is a Uganda based Tourist Guide and Wildlife photographer who is born in the rural village with in Rubirizi district commonly known as Bunyaruguru which located adjacent to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western part of Uganda.
Since childhood, I had a zeal in Tourism. Therefore after completing my advanced level of education, i joined Makerere University and acquired a Bachelors of Degree in Travel and Tourism Management. This gave me an opportunity to train with Africa Institute of Tourism and Field Guiding under the President of Uganda Tourism Association. I acquired the following skills;
-Tourist guiding
-Customer care
-Nature Interpretation
-Birds identification
-Costing and intenerary designing
-Visitor handling
-Meet and greeting visitors
-Trail designing
-Community interaction and Hosting Etiquette.
I have worked as a Tourist guide and wildlife photographer at a freelance base and I’m currently working with a Safari company. I am single and i spend my free time marketing destination Uganda, birdwatching especially in natural environments, listening to music, going to music concerts, watching wildlife, internet, hiking, photography and making good tourism related friends.
As a social and adventureholic person, I always spare time to drink at least a litre of water on daily basis but will not spare a cup of milk with coffee if it comes across by any chance, a glass of home-made juice and over the real free time out of work, a glass of wine may be handy. Being a Ugandan from western region, our staple food is Matooke (Mashed banana) and karo (millet bread) served with fresh fish or ground-nuts paste as my best dish.
Explore uganda with your perfect tourist guide. Don`t miss to have me on your tour as your guide. Welcome to Uganda!
